Youth Development
Parents desire a safe environment in which children can learn practical and social skills and develop positive values. Kids want to exert energy, discover who they are and what they can achieve and be accepted among each other. The Family Y's childcare programs offer just that!
Preschool Childcare
The Family Y provides experiences to enhance and enrich each child's cognitive, language, social, emotional, physical, and creative development. Preschool programs serving infants through children 4 years old are offered at our two full-day child care centers: The Family Y's Child Development Center (706-922-9670) and the Southside Tubman Learning Center (706-738-8860). School-Age Childcare Programs
The Y is the largest provider of school-age child care in the CSRA and in the nation! The Family Y offers school-age care at over 30 public school sites through Prime Time After School and at Child Development Center. In all of our programs, children are given a safe and fun before-and-after school place to be. Locations provide convenience for our working parents and parents who are continuing their education. Arrivals & Departures/All Childcare
All children must be signed in upon arrival and signed out when departing. The staff will release children only to those persons 18 years of age or older who are designated by the parent. The staff requires proper photo identification from any person authorized to pick up a child.
