STEINER BRANCH FAMILY Y IN GROVETOWN NOW OPEN

The Grovetown community has welcomed the new Steiner Branch Family Y with open arms! Since its Grand Opening event on Saturday, May 11, there has been a steady flow of visitors from all over Columbia County to take tours and join the new facility. Only positive comments have been heard and more than 300 families joined in the first week! Both Metro and Branch-only memberships are available at Steiner Branch. The new Family Y is located adjacent to the new Columbia County Exhibition Hall which will open later this summer. The address is 218 Partnership Drive in the Gateway Complex near the Grovetown Walmart on Lewiston Road. Stop by to meet the ninth member of the Family Y family! WHERE ADVENTURE MEETS FUN

Let your neighborhood Family Y be your kid’s favorite place to be this summer! While school is out, kids ages 5-12 have all summer to learn new skills, meet new friends and make memories to last a lifetime! Family Y summer day camps and overnight camps offer a range of traditional and special-interest programs to provide fun, exciting care for one week or the entire summer. Day camps are offered at 8 CSRA locations. Financial assistance is available for camps and all other Family Y programs. Family Y members enjoy a weekly discount. Summer 2013 Pool and Water Park Schedule:

Summertime is fun time when you visit a Family Y pool or water park! Family Y Metro members have unlimited access to our two seasonal outdoor pools and water parks (Wilson and Aiken County Family Ys) and year-round access to our two indoor pools (Wilson and Downtown Augusta Family Ys). Year-round and summer swim lessons are offered for ages 6 months and up at the Wilson, Aiken County and Downtown Family Y locations. To register for summer swim lessons,click here.

Wilson Family Y-Outdoor pool and water park open for the summer beginning Saturday, May 25! Summer Hours: Monday-Friday, 10:00 am- 8:00 pm, Saturday, 10:00 am- 5:30 pm, and Sunday, 1:00- 5:30 pm.
Aiken County Family Y- Outdoor pool and water park open full-time for the summer beginning Monday, June 10! The pool is open for limited hours beginning Saturday, May 25: Saturday, 10:00 am- 5:00 pm, Sunday, 1:00- 5:00 pm, and Monday-Friday, 7:00 am- 8:00 pm with limited access to water park amenities. Summer Hours (beginning June 10): Monday- Friday, 10:00 am- 8:00 pm, Saturday, 10:00 am- 5:00 pm, and Sunday, 1:00- 5:00 pm.
Downtown Family Y- Indoor pool is open year-round! Hours: Monday- Friday, 6 am- 8:30 pm (closed M-F, 9:30-10:30 am and MWF, 5:30-6:30 pm), Saturday, 8 a.m- 3:30 pm, and Sunday, 11 a.m.- 3:30 pm.
